Spring
While at home the Northeast is bemoaning its accumulated lack of snow (and revelling in a recent foot), we're experiencing spring here.
"Winter" was a nice month or so where temps stayed in the mid-eighties during the day and fell to the mid- to low- seventies at night.
How plants know that it's "spring" in a climate where there's no real "winter," I don't know. But there are a lot of flowers out now, and my lime tree is blooming again. The millipedes (or something) are as eager for those lime flowers as I am to have fresh (mini) limes for my tea again.
Summer's coming soon: the web weather said somewhere in Chennai hit 34 degrees C yesterday.
