On the Road Again... Agra to Jaipur via Galta
More fields. Most of the landscape was flat. We saw haying, and bales with pointed caps to keep out the rain.

We saw piles of cow pats drying by the side of the road. They're used for fuel. We saw cows too...
...and camels. And water buffalo pulling carts.

The Galta Temple complex was the highlight of the boys' day. It's in a narrow valley. This is part-way up, looking back.
We walked up, and up, and sometimes cows passed us...
But the main attraction, for the boys anyway, was the monkeys.
Matthew had peanuts in his pocket and the monkeys knew it. At one point, they chased him.
A view of Jaipur down in the valley, from the Sun Temple at the top of the mountain.
Jaipur was the end of the day's trip, assuming we made it through oncoming traffic. (Kuldeep, our very competent driver, is seen in the rear-view mirror.)

All those red bricks used in the Red Forts are produced locally. The red sand is dug up, formed into bricks, and dried in kilns like these.
