I hadn't realized that these two had similar paintings until just now. The symbol in the center is the lance & shield of Murugan.
That's what happens when you take pictures when you're half asleep - these were from an early-morning walk.
Yes, those are eyes on the front of the hood, and the engine grate has a painting of a temple on it.
And wait until you see the water delivery trucks! Murugan was following me around, it seems. I'm looking for the water truck with the grand peacock I saw a week ago & will insert here if I find it when I have the camera.
Note to sequential readers: We're out of order! We spent the past week in Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. It will take a few days to sort through the pictures, but they will be posted at some point.
